Tasks Job Description We are hiring a full time Founding Full Stack Software Engineer to take ownership of the medical-grade software behind our wearable products. You will drive execution, with broad ownership of architecture, backend, and data. Working closely with the CTO, you will shape and strengthen our products into robust and secure systems that meet the requirements of a regulated MedTech environment. In this role, you will deepen your expertise in regulated medical software, secure system design, and real-world device integration. Your work will directly contribute to the reliability and effectiveness of our technology that helps people improve their movement and quality of life. Your Main Tasks - Own and evolve our backend architecture, including service design, data models, and deployment strategy - Build backend services and data workflows, including reliable device-to-cloud ingestion, validation, and processing of real-world sensor data - Operate and improve production systems, including CI/CD, monitoring, logging, alerting, performance optimization, and incident handling - Establish engineering practices such as code reviews, automated testing, documentation standards, and controlled release processes Requirements Must-Have Qualifications - You have taken a system from early stage to production and kept it running, from architecture decisions to technological choices - Proven backend development experience with services, APIs, and data processing pipelines in Go, Kotlin/Java, C#, or similar - Hands-on experience setting up and operating cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production environments - Experience with security fundamentals in production (authentication, authorization, secure data handling) Nice-to-Have Qualifications - Experience in regulated software development - Hardware integration or real-world sensor data experience Benefits What you get - Real ownership with direct product impact in a fast moving, high standards team - Building technology that improves people’s muscle health - Culture with an ambitious team where your contribution is visible and valued - Trust-based working hours and offices where you can shape your own workspace What sets you apart - You take end-to-end ownership and thrive in environments where you take responsibility for quality and reliability of your outcomes - You combine focus, drive, and energy with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results - You make good decisions with incomplete information and iterate fast - You have a DevOps mindset: you build it, you run it How to apply Are we a match?
